Jack Zwanenburg talked about the importance of user centered design at the BNO Tallks 09: Apps & Tabs

He presented the cases of WineStein and Sentres in this matter. The BNO Tallks is a series of talkshows in Amsterdam, once every two months, where designers talk about their specialty, vision, inspiration and co-creation.

Nominated twice!

The identity programs we developed for tegut... and Utrecht City Theatre are both nominated for the Designpreis Deutschland 2012.

This award is bestowed in recognition of outstanding achievements in the fields of product design and communication design. Only products which have emerged successfully from a formal selection procedure or from an national or international competition will be accepted for the competition for the Designpreis Deutschland.

The tegut... brand identity received an iF communication design award 2010 for the categories print media sales promotion and crossmedia.
The Utrecht City Theatre identity won several awards since it's launch in the summer of 2009; among them a Red Dot Award (2009), a European Design Award (2010) and a D&AD Award (2010).

Utrecht’s new cultural season

This spring, the Utrecht City Theatre and Edenspiekermann invited Dutch illustrator and photographer Krista van der Niet to create a series of images that would enrich the communication about the upcoming cultural season, based on the brand keywords ‘scintillating’ and ‘reflective’.

Krista about the project: “Since the programme brochure would be filled with theatrical images by the various companies and artists, I searched for a strong counterpart concept for the dividing pages; clear and simple aesthetic images that communicate directly and incite fantasy and wonder.”

“For me theatre is above all fantasy and temporary escapism, stepping into a different world. My pictures are partly unreal and surrealistic, yet made in a natural way. I never use Photoshop.”
