Securing the future means continuously changing oneself. That's what Bosch Production System, BPS for short, is all about. It's there to modernise the production process at Bosch and optimise it for the long term. The task now is to get everyone from the leadership through to production on board.

Communication is the answer, because without a voice there is no presence. Edenspiekermann has analysed the current situation and developed a comprehensive communication plan. BPS must step out from the confusion of Excel tables and management presentations. From now on this initiative of change has a face and uses simple unambiguous language which can be understood by everybody. The lynchpin is the ‘Robert BPS’ mascot. He makes the most complex BPS principles easy to grasp and helps changes become tangible for both the workforce and management, in turn motivating and incorporating everyone involved. Numerous communication measures such as large scale events, news of success stories and intranet will be united under the motto "Everything is possible. BPS". In keeping with the concept, Edenspiekermann has developed the ‘face’ of BPS as well as all media, whether in print or online.

Highlights are the regularly held international major events for middle and top management: "BPS Day" and the "International Manufacturing Conference". At the time of Germany's success at the 2006 football World Cup, the Bosch senior management was able to experience how new methods of leadership and change can lead to success. Edenspiekermann developed the communication concept for the events consisting of ideas and all event components such as the awards ceremony, evening event and the visual appearance.

Optimisation couldn't be more sustainable, and so Bosch Production System has enjoyed worldwide success thanks to the communication concept by Edenspiekermann.

The integrated Bosch Production System communication concept was honoured with the first Bosch International Communication Award in 2008.
