From a small agency representing farmers to the leading independent umbrella organisation of European farmers and cooperatives with over 15 million members: The 50-year success story of CopaCogeca as agricultural representatives speaks for itself, though it is barely recognised by outsiders. This is going to change: CopaCogeca as a modern political EU institution – people in future will associate that with the name.

How can this aim be achieved through communication? In a workshop Edenspiekermann defines the brand architecture and the relation of both umbrella organisations Copa and Cogeca to one another. It's been shown that they should be treated as equally as possible.

"Two pulling together" is the message of the new visual image. The common ground in political battle is emphasised, without sweeping the individual organisations' opinions under the carpet. Alongside the corporate design basic elements such as logo, colour scheme, typography, visual style and layout concept, Edenspiekermann have developed design templates in logo files and for graphics and office use. This safeguards a consistent transition to the new corporate design. Whether it's office material, PowerPoint presentations, on posters or in brochures: CopaCogeca is a player on the European stage.
