From investment clients to private investors – MEAG looks after them all. Being one of the most important asset management companies in Europe, MEAG manages the funds of both Münchener Rück and the ERGO insurance group. However, it also sells bonds to private clients. This balancing act is quite a challenge because each target group wants to be addressed in a different way by the same company.
Edenspiekermann turns this balancing act into a communication concept. In the uniform layout, text and image style is designed to match the expectations of the target groups. For example, private clients are spoken to directly and emotionally using black and white portraits, while big investors are addressed in a more reserved manner using images from nature. Thus the diversity of image styles reflects the range of clients whilst retaining a coherent company image thanks to the layout.
Edenspiekermann not only designed all the print media, office communication and the in-house magazine, it also conceived and produced the new trade fair stand. Moreover, by using the Indesign templates for forms and contracts the company acquires tools to make internal processes simpler and help reduce costs. In the space of a mere five months MEAG has managed to introduce its new corporate design and successfully continue to implement it. The brand is strong and clear for its tenth anniversary.
