Help science and technology center NCWT to redefine their profile and realign the brand portfolio, leveraging the strength of the NEMO brand.

Insightful brand architecture, renewed logo family and clear visual identity guidelines.

NCWT have the ambition to develop into the leading platform for science and technology in The Netherlands. They want to achieve this by leveraging the strength of the NEMO brand which is held in high esteem in our country. NCWT face growing competition in the leisure market and acknowledge the growing importance of science and technology in education and in society as a whole. Therefore they asked Edenspiekermann to help improve their brand coherence and overall visibility.

Science Center NEMO is the public brand in the NCWT family, well-known through its highly visible iconic building in the heart of Amsterdam, designed by Renzo Piano. Graphic designer Anthon Beeke developed the former NEMO logo in 1997. We modernized and simplified the logo to make it work better in digital applications and on campaign posters in the hectic streets of Amsterdam.

New stationery line.

The housestyle was improved by implementing design guidelines that give the various branches of the NCWT organization the tools to create their own applications. Playful and outgoing for the NEMO brand, more businesswise and sincere for the educational support centers.
