Hering Berlin stands for a modern expression of porcelain. 1992 Stefanie Hering, Designer and pottery specialist, founded her manufactory in Berlin. Shaped by her personality and creativity, Hering Berlin today produces ceramics, drinking glasses, table textiles and luminaries. The appeal of matt bisque porcelain with delicate structure is company's trademark: poetic purism. The corporate website should reflect this premium approach both of Hering Berlin products and customers.

With the redesign, Edenspiekermann captured the spirit of poetic purism – by developing two ways of accessing the huge product range: on the one hand via „handmade“ product worlds of seemingly floating plates, glasses and other products, and on the other hand as a database catalogue, organizing the ca. 980 pieces that can be combined freely.

The most important visual element is the parallax effect (position of elements change with scrolling) which allows the photographs to display more items on less surface. Still photographs seem to be in motion, creating a surprising impression of space.

On the new Hering Berlin website you can find products by their attributes, specify your search via filters (plates, glass, etc.) – or follow your intuition through movements and images. The new corporate website captures not only the product portfolio, but also the spirit of Hering Berlin, its attitude and originality.
