Berliner Philharmoniker ‘Official Honoree’ at Webby Awards

The website of Berliner Philharmoniker, developed by Edenspiekermann, was recognized as an ‘Official Honoree’ at the 13th Webby Awards in the categories ‘Best Visual Design’ and ‘Cultural Institutions’.

Of the nearly 10,000 entries submitted to the 13th Annual Webby Awards, fewer than 15% were distinguished as an Official Honoree. The Webby Awards are considered the most important international award for outstanding achievement in the internet. They are been assigned by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences in New York since 1996.

The Academy is a 550-member body of leading Web experts, IT and Design journalists and creative celebrities such as the renowned musician David Bowie, the ‘Father of the Internet’ Vint Cerf, the creator of the ‘Simpsons’, Matt Groening and Virgin-Founder Richard Branson.
