Edenspiekermann designs the new Commerzbank logo

Edenspiekermann has redesigned the Commerzbank logo. By modernising and emphasising the outline they have given the financial institution a stronger brand image. Commerzbank contracted several agencies to rework their corporate design. Fabian Rottke’s team from Edenspiekermann Berlin were responsible for developing and producing the logo and logo family.

“Our remit was to carefully modernise the logo for both online and offline media. The old logo was proving problematic onscreen” says Fabian Rottke, creative director at Edenspiekermann. “That’s why we straightened the type. We also gave the image an outline. By accentuating the contours the logo becomes more concise and distinct, making it easy to read on a computer screen even at the smallest sizes.”
