Edenspiekermann speaks at Design Yatra in India

Erik Spiekermann and Willem Woudenberg will attend the annual Design Yatra in Mumbai from 4 to 7 september.

The Design Yatra is an international platform for the creative industry, focussed on visual / strategic communication design and product design.

This year the Design Yatra is organised in collaboration with the BNO (Association of Dutch Designers) and DutchDFA (Dutch Design Fashion and Architecture), that aims to strengthen the international position of the most prominent sectors of the Dutch creative industries. Fifteen Dutch design agencies travel to Mumbai to establish collaboration between the design agencies here and there.

Both Erik Spiekermann and Willem Woudenberg will speak during the conference, next to others like Wally Ollins, Martin Sorell, Rodney Fitch and other Dutch speakers.

Willem Woudenberg and Frits Lintmeijer of the Maatschap voor Communicatie will organise an intercultural workshop (commissioned by DutchDFA) in which Indian and Dutch designers will explore the importance of understanding cultural differences and share their views on how such differences can impact business practices.
