Edenspiekermann sponsoring TEDxBerlin

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, the first TEDx conference was held in Berlin on 30 November 2009. Erik Spiekermann kicked off the day with a presentation called “Redesigning Design”. Moreover, the handmade invitation cards and the program for over 300 invited guests were designed and produced by Edenspiekermann.

Hosted by Red Onion, TEDxBerlin took place at Grand Hyatt Berlin, gathering inspiring speeches, performances and TED videos on design, future technologies and new ways in social entrepreneurism. TEDx events operate under license from the well known TED conferences.TED started in 1984, bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design.

Along with the annual TED conferences in the USA, India and the UK, TED includes the award-winning TEDTalks video site and the new TEDx community program.

As a local, self-organized event, the TEDx premiered in Germany this year.
