Themed ‘The Word’ ATypI 2010 will take place from 8 to 12 September 2010 in Dublin, Ireland. Among type and graphic designers from all over the world, Erik Spiekermann will talk about collaborative type design.

Thus, from the cultural heart of a literary city the theme for ATypI 2010 – The Word – has offered itself up. Any attempt to broaden the understanding of typography must draw upon traditions and practices from around the globe. As one of the speakers from all over the world, Erik Spiekermann will talk about the the pitfalls and pleasures of Collaborative Typeface Design in “Managing multiplicity“.
