Workshop: Prototyping for Retailers

Edenspiekermann Partner Steven Cook is hosting a prototyping workshop for retailers at Outdoor 2017. Outdoor is one of the largest international outdoor lifestyle trade fairs, held annually at Messe Friedrichshafen in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Many retail brands are struggling to connect the dots in the digital life of their customers. In this 3 hour workshop participants will develop a prototype for either in-store, out of store, or online-only services that bring your brand closer to its customers.

Working in small groups, the workshop will focus on how to:

• create a key persona
• explore customer journeys
• develop a product idea
• develop a rough concept

And all of this is followed by a rapid prototyping session.

By the end of the workshop participants will have a low-fidelity prototype, and a better understanding of how prototyping can help to develop the kinds of services and products that customers actually want—and how this can strengthen brands in the new retail landscape.
